Capital Fisheries was incorporated in May 1999 as a cold chain distributor. We started with only one product line, a local Zambian fish called Buka Buka and as time went by we expanded. In 2014 we went on to becoming one of the biggest cold chain distributors in Zambia sourcing locally affordable fish ,as well as, imports.

The company now offers over 240 products which include a range of products such as meat, chips and pastries, in addition to our fish. The company is equipped to handle all these products as it has a storage capacity of 3,500 metric tonnes. The company has 56 depots located through Zambia where we stock our wholesale products. Furthermore, we have two of our own shops in Lusaka that stock our retail products. Additionally, we supply restaurants, hotels and major supermarkets such as Shoprite throughout Zambia.

In line with expanding the product line, the company further expanded and ventured into different markets, forming Capital Trucking. Together it became the market-leading Zambian cold chain food distributor, specialising in the distribution of frozen products (fish and meat) to both the formal and informal market.
